Oh dear, I didn't see the part about the 8 weeks. A 12-14 hour car ride is much too long for a much too young puppy.
Gemy, where did you see that the breeder the OP was getting her pup from was in Ontario? I know there's a reputable breeder in Ontario (Rigair Yorkies), but that is probably not the one that OP is getting her new pup from.
