Welcome to Yorkie Talk. Sorry your baby is having trouble. It is possible for the anal glands to refill very quickly when there is a problem. I would have the vet take another look.

Max had this problem briefly when he was a pup after the vet manually retrieved a stool sample. He had his glands manually expressed once, and then I added a few baby sweet peas (1/4 teaspoon) to his dinner to give his stool a little more bulk. That solved the problem and he has never been manually expressed since. He doesn't need the peas anymore either.

Sometimes a little bit of fiber (peas or green beans) added to the diet are all a dog needs. Some dogs need to be manually expressed all of their lives.
