I asked a similar question when I got on here. I'm new to this breed as well so I'll tell you one of the reasons that I was told that their ears can be floppy is that they are teething. So maybe your little guy is getting some new teeth in? Another reason could be that the hair on their ears is too heavy so maybe your little one's ear hairs have grown too heavy for him to hold them up anymore? Those are a couple reasons I was told could be the reason for it but there are some other more knowledgable ladies on the board who would know better than I. However, I just wanted to chime in, in case they aren't lurking around at the moment to answer.
