We originally planned to wait until Valentine's Day to bring her home, but since they've been home from school for snow days, my husband and I decided to go ahead and bring her home.
We immediately fell in love! She has the sweetest, most well-rounded temperament- happy, perky, confident, and also such a little lapdog! She immediately took up with me and any time I sit down, she's racing to get there. My daughter's are a little jealous of her favoritism although when I am not sitting, she's happy to play with the girls. She's great at fetching!
She is almost 6 months old now and her previous owners already had her potty trained! We just are continuing doing what they started and give her a little treat when she potties outside. Last night, her first night here, I placed her kennel (with the door opened) in our guest bathroom with a pee pad in the corner of the room. I left her a couple of chew toys and her water dish - although I am not sure i should leave that in there overnight, but did last night because she didn't seem to drink much water during the evening. Anyhow, she whimpered about 5 minutes after I closed the door, but then quietened down for the rest of the night. I wasn't sure if I'd find a mess in there, but she did so great! No mess at all!
Everything has gone so fabulously so far, and I am seriously wondering how we lucked up with such a perfect little girl!!

We can't wait to have her "brother" here in the next week or so!
