The misconception comes in when we automatically think One Month = 4 weeks. This is not the case. Except for February on a non-leap year year, all months are longer than 4 weeks. So, going by months versus weeks ends up getting confusing.
But as said above, One Year = 52 weeks. Just think, if you were counting your age in months, you would think that is 13 months a year @4 weeks per month. lol
I think this is sort of why parents of human and animal babies eventually transistion from giving the baby's age from weeks then months then years.
