I didn't know we had scorpions in CA!?! I've never seen one. She was on the sidewalk, not on the grass when it happened. I looked around for any creepy crawlies and didn't see anything. She's not licking anymore, but she's still lifting it when she's not walking. Still no swelling. I'm afraid what if it's a thorn from a plant and has some kind of poison on it. There are no plants in the front with spikes or thorns though!

Aren't scorpions like WAY poisonous? Wouldn't she be swelling up if it was a scorpion? The ball part was about the size of a ball point pen tip and the spike was like an eyelash. One of my eyelashes so really really short and thin.
