I sooo agree with the advice you have been given. Keep the appointment and have her spay.

I had my Remy spayed because I just don't have the ability or knowledge to deal with a pg. I know with the small babies there can be so many complications.

If your baby matted with a larger dog the pg could kill her, or be very expensive for the vet care. It is best just to do spay now.
