Hi Everyone, I have seen posts on various types of flea & tick meds and I have a question...
I have used a topical med on my dogs previously until the end of last year when I had a conversation with one of our vet techs where I asked about the effectiveness of the product when it says that I can give the dog a bath (I think) after 24 - 48 hours. My vet tech told me that I needed to leave it on all month for it to be effective otherwise I was just washing off the product.
Because I don't want to do that, I plan on talking with my Vet about a different type of flea med and will be asking about a pill type med.
I wondered if anyone else was leaving the topical on their dogs for a full month without washing? I just don't believe anyone is doing that. Am I mistaken??
