I've been buying the 12" ones from best bully sticks that are a little thicker than the regular ones. I like the longer/thicker ones because they do seem to last a little longer and since I throw away the last 2-3 inches I get more for my money. One of mine is an agressive chewer and can go through one pretty quick, so I set the timer and let mine chew for 15-20 minutes a day. My Moka will be 7 this year, and Mylee will be 4. Neither one of mine have yet to need a dental and I do credit the bully sticks for their healthy teeth and gums. My vet always comments on how amazed he is that my girls' teeth look so good. However, as others have said, I always supervise with them.
