Thank you so much to you who replied to this thread. I did call the ER vet. You all were right. She said as long as it wasn't the xyletol (spelling???!!) one, the gum should pass through fine.
This is good to know. I will be watching Copper anyway. Hubby eats blowpops by the truck load...I think he will be more careful with the wrappers from now on...but you never know. This wrapper was on a table tray. Copper climbed up the recliner and then onto the tray to get it. What a stinker!
