I agree with your husband. Your baby has his own line that he will bark for...be thankful that line has not been breached.
Brody didn't bark hardly at all...at first...either. Then we got Mia and she taught him to bark...at every sound and every thing. So now, when a kitty jumps down and makes that soft little thud on the floor...!
When one of them sees one of us coming around a back corner of the house...!
When the monsters (garbage cans) are put out by the street...?
When the (monsters) garbage cans are NOT out by the street anymore...?
When either sees a bicyclist riding down the street...!
And, Mia continues to "huff" and/or "chuff" lonnggg after the barking is over and the "threat" (see above) is over and done with and long gone.
