That's a great idea!! Hubby wanted to crate him every time he "cries wolf," but I felt it would be counterproductive because then wouldn't he associate ringing the bells with getting punished?

I'll def. try timing him. I ignored him earlier and now he's sleeping so I take it he will actually have to go after he wakes up.

I can't wait to get a house with a fenced in yard! Should be in a few months
