I understand the idea of buying from good breeders. However, why is it so hard for people to find these reputable breeders, and most importantly, see the puppies that are available?
You could be the most reputable breeder in the world, but, if I don't like your puppies, I am not going to buy from you. It seems kind of silly to do a bunch of research, travel hours to go to dog shows
(which I have no interest in), etc. just to find puppies that are available.
What I would like to see is a website that lists puppies from reputable sellers/breeders, like this site
(yes, I've been told not to buy from here): Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale | Lancaster Puppies
And when I find a puppy I like, I can contact the seller and start my research at that point.
Perhaps I just don't understand how this process works. I'd like to think that people want to be able to easily find pets and breeders want to easily find good homes for those pets.
