I had My Female Becca out to PetSmart when she was only 3 months old. I kept her in a Shopping Cart until she had all her shots, then down on a Harness/Leash.
I think getting them out to at least "see" things as I did, or carry them in your arm, just anything to get the socialization process started ASAP.
I didn't do that with My Male Sneakers, and there is a VAST difference in how they meet and greet others...people included. Becca..friendly, Sneakers...not at all !
