When I started breeding Yorkie's they were not in the top 10 AKC breeds..I think they were 15..now they are 6 or 7??? When a breed gets so popular they are mass produced, that leads to many health issues coming to the surface. Liver Shunt in Yorkie's is becoming the heart problem of the Cavaliers spaniels.
