I bring my ex-pen with me, tell the front desk, NOT to clean the room, but give me extra towels etc and not to go into the room. Works fine. Never had a problem. Of course, this is for overnight stays or two days, not three or four days. Whatever you do crate the dogs while you are gone, just in case someone does go into your room
