If this were my pup I would be out the door and on my way to the EC! Eye injuries are serious not to mention painful for the pups.
This does look like an injury or an ulcer to me. Even waiting overnight could make a huge difference in terms of saving eyesight!
If it is not a problem, then all you will be paying for is an exam...better to be safe than sorry!
Most vets are trained to treat eye ulcers.....and definitely ECs can handle them. I do suggest a follow up with an opthamologist after..but I would not wait for an appointment!
