She swims well. I have her close to me too but I also have a 2 other dogs that would never go in the water but love to run around it. They are bigger like 8 lb and can lean over and get a drink. she falls in when she tries that. lol
My pool is too cold too. Bailey still climbs down on her little ramp and gets her drink then RUNS back up it like it is her favorite toy. It makes her feel so Big. I think I will take the advice given earlier and make another one for the other end of the pool too.
I can't wait until it is warm enough to swim with her.
