Oh my gosh, Bonny
! Just reading this. How is she doing this morning?
When do you get the test results for Addisons? (in a nut shell, btw, Addisons is the 'opposite' of what Wylie has, which is Cushings; Addisons is generally very manageable)
I can also tell you about dogs and pacemakers. I used to work in the pacer/defib (implantable) sales field - and when we had 'short-dated' pacemakers (about to expire for human use, but still LOTS of battery life left)...we could donate them to Vet Hospitals so they could use them for the animals. I would be asked occasionally to come check their pacemakers (with my special computer) for follow-up - and I can tell you these dogs do wonderfully with pacemakers! I remember
all of the owners describing how their babies went from being lethargic, to back to their old selves after the pacemaker brought their rate back up.
I hope you are able to find out soon what is going on - you're probably sick with worry, and the waiting is some of the worst of it. Lots of hugs and love to you and Chelsea!
