A couple of things you need to be aware of. The best time to have him nuetered is when his growth plates have closed and of course when both of his testicles have dropped. Your vet can best tell by examining him.
Make sure your vet uses Isoflourione as the anesthetic and of course have a blood panel run on your pup before undergoing surgery. |
Just curious, how do you know when their growth plates have closed? I'm not ever planning to breed. Is there any way for the owner to tell when the growth plates have closed?
