You would want to have him nuetered at the same time you are assured that all of his adult teeth have come in. He may retain some baby teeth that may have to be pulled, so for his benefit you'd only have to put him under once.

A couple of things you need to be aware of. The best time to have him nuetered is when his growth plates have closed and of course when both of his testicles have dropped. Your vet can best tell by examining him.

Make sure your vet uses Isoflourione as the anesthetic and of course have a blood panel run on your pup before undergoing surgery.
