I started thinking I would like something Scottish. I came up with Iona. Then mum and I got talking and her last name is McTigue, as kids they were called the Tiguey's (pronounced in Scottish slang as Taygees).
She said Teegy would be a great name for a wee boy dog. So we left it to my dad the next morning, Iona or Teegy, dad chose Teegy and voila. So when I got him, I burst into tears like a big giant baby and cried out "Hi Teegy". |
