My vet has the scale to weigh them in the waiting room and then we go into the exam room and they never take her away for an exam they always do it right there. I have never heard of them taking them away for the exam, its seems kinda weird and I dont think I would like that at all. They did take Callie in the back when they had to take some liquid out of a bump she has to test it but they asked me if I wanted them to take her back or for them to do it in the back and I told them I would prefer they did it in the back because its hard for me to watch them stick a needle in my baby. I think next time you went in I would say hey I would really prefer you do they exam with me here.
