Are you being consistent in using the pads or are you taking her out sometimes, too? If you are only using the pads, are you taking her to them as soon as she wakes? Since you are planning on eventually using the outdoors, why not put her leash on her and take her out every so often? Just remember to be consistent in whatever you do. Praise her and even give her a tiny treat when she goes where she should. And don't forget that many of them go through a period after being spayed that they have potty accidents. Your household has been interrupted with some emergencies lately and sometimes these things can cause an upset in our yorkies. Try to be patient and only praise her. Never yell at her. Scold if you see her have the accident and immediately take her to her pads or outside - whichever you are going to use. They are smart. They can learn. | |
