couldn't have said it better! also stimulate often. warm cloth in dryer or lay it over a heat vent briefly, take the pup and wrap in warm cloth and stimulate by rubbing all over the body to get the blood pumping and little system going. you can also use your hands only to stimulate, i do that often, but rub your hands together vigorously to make sure they are warm first...good luck to you
