Yoda had a bit of a health scare last month:

Both Yoda and his brother Winky are on the same low-fat diet (Royal Canin Digestive Low Fat LF from the vet with white rice) now. Yoda has lost a bit of weight, which he needed to do; he fluctuates between 7.5 and 8 pounds, depending on the time of day, which is about 1.5 pounds lighter than before. Winky lost about a pound of weight too. The only changes are a bit less treats, and the change in food. They do get a few more walks a week than before as well. They both love this food! They still gets a treat or two a day (usually a cookie or a Greenie). Yoda's energy level is great, he humps his girlfriend (stuffed cat) about 3 to 4 times a week and we take walks almost every day (about 15-20 minute walks).
Before, they were on this food:
Quote:
We feed him Darwin's Natural raw food (www.darwinspet.com) which he has been on for about four years and we feed him California Natural dry food (http://www.naturapet.com/brands/california-natural.aspl). The California Natural he has been on for about a year, previously we gave him Royal Canin Yorkshire 28 dry food. On occasion, we do give him a bit of our human food, which we probably really should never do...

Just wanted to give some info on the boys' new low-fat diet for future reference or for Yorkie parents looking to help with some weight loss.
