Default Anybody know of any experimental treatments for reverse PDA?

Im new here and am glad I found this forum. I just received some terrible news that my Yorkies red blood cell counts were high for a yorkie. The vet says he thinks its reverse PDA. I havent visited with the Cardiologist yet for the ultrasound, but could it be anything else? She has fluid in her lungs, but still has an appetite, and will occasional be playful. Her eyes are still white and her gums are a nice pink color. Her problems started when she inhaled some of her puke accidentally. She has a disorder(basillius or something like that) where she pukes up yellow bile if she doesnt eat every 8 hrs. Ever since that night her breathing has been raspy. We took her in and the vet put her on prednisilone. She still has fluid in her lungs and now the vet thinks its reverse PDA because he doesnt hear a murmur. If it is RPDA, can I go anywhere to find any new or experimental treatments? Shes only 2 yrs old, Im not ready to say goodbye to her yet!
