I had them on Merricks (not thier grain free) which I think is around 24 percent. I switched them to the acana because I think a few of the issues they were having were related to grains in thier diets. I choose Acana because it is considerably less in protien, but Im know thinking they may need more carbs?? They like the Acana and other than having no energy, they are doing well on it (small poops etc.) and I really dont want to switch agian. Im going to continue to feed it and see if thier energy levels pick up, maybe their bodies need some more time to adjust.
