I confess that I think you should definitely try them.
the first time or 2 it probably won't be too pretty, but once you get the hang of putting them on they look awesome. and if they DO fall off, it's not a big deal. just carry around the little super glue bottle that comes with them, and you can stick 'em right back on.
I confess I just very nearly super glued my mouth shut while putting on my nails.
