It is not uncommon for them to develop a bump at the site of an injection. I didn't notice when Pixie got one on her upper thigh area until my husband noticed and I brush her every day and she has a thin coat. So it could be you didn't see it at first. You could check with the vet to make sure (that's what I did as I wasn't sure where she had gotten the injection. Either way since she is acting ok she should be fine. I know it's hard not to worry about our babies.
