 I my new sweet man!!!
We had put our other yorkie to sleep about 6 weeks ago, and I finally found a new man!!! We have had him 2 weeks tomorrow. His name is Jake, he is 10 lbs and about 8 months. He is from a rescue. We got so lucky, he is an absolute sweetheart, so well behaved and is learning so easily and quickly. He is learning really fast with his housebreaking. Day 2 on no accidents. God, don't I sound like a proud mamma!! LOL My goal was to have him learn right away to get his face washed and teeth brushed, because our last yorkie we got when he was older and he hated both!!
He loves his new big sister, our golden retriever. They discovered they can play tug of war together, and he gets along with the cats and my granddaughter.
He certainly has helped start to fill the hole left in our hearts from the loss of our Jack. |
