Joey's vet suggested them when Joey needed to lose some weight after a tricks training class. I use the frozen variety they taste precooked, and just microwave to thaw. I've heard the canned variety has too much salt, someone suggested rinsing, but the salt would be absorbed by the bean in the canning process, and I doubt if rinsing would help. The raw kind must be cooked before they can be digested. Joey just loves them, and gets about 5-6 of the petite green beans a day. |
