Do I keep her or him leashed or let them run rampant with each other? Bella is VERY playful, not nippy at all, Buddah is very laid back and lazy.
The worry is maybe his sheer strength he has at his young age and Bella's lack of such. His paw is basically the size of her head at this point, plus if he may nip at her, he's a new dog and we really have no clue how he'd react to a new dog.
What are the proper ways to introduce this new dog to both parties involved?

Last week granddaughter came over with her boyfriends 4 mo old Siberian Husky who is quite large by comparison. He was in the door before I realized he was even there. Roxy went bonkers.... wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. She was sooo excited to see a puppy dog. The Husky was completely overwhelmed with this insane wiggling mass of fur. Hilarious!!! Luckily he is a really laid back pup & was completely unphased by her. She romped all over him.
We had St Bernard's at one time. They can be kinda clutsie, but yorkies move so fast I doubt there will be a problem. It's my guess they will be fine together. Being little & super fast has it's advantages. Roxy could be across 2 rooms & back while a St Bernard is still just thinking about moving.
Hope it goes well for you!
