It's completely normal for them to be sleepy and somewhat uncomfortable for about a day after a vaccination. It's really no different than when humans get a vaccination-- I know I've been sore and crummy feeling for a little while after every vaccine I've ever had. Luckily distemper vaccines are perfectly effective if given on a 3 year cycle, so this hopefully won't be something the babies have to go through often.

Did your vet give them a distemper combo with lepto included? Lepto is the portion of the vaccine that most often causes reactions, and it is largely unnecessary for a small house dog since their risk of exposure to the disease is typically pretty low.
