i don't separate mine until about the third or fouth day of bloody discharge UNLESS my male shows inteerest earlier. Then they are immediately separated until 9 days. I breed days 9 and 10 or 9 and 11. My Ceeby is so experienced that he won't even smell until the gal starts flagging. he doesn't wear himself out.
