Well, I have good All Weather tires, I got new ones right b4 I got up here...some real grippy Sport ones they tried to talk me out of getting "cuz you have a luxury car"... Um, no... I have a station wagon, ...I don't want soft cushy wimp tires, I wanted grippy ones..so I got em. heheheh.
In Texas once I went to work during ice as did 5 other coworkers, we all slid into the curb to park then when we found out we weren't supposed to go into work that day, we formed a human chain and pulled each other across the street back to our cars. That was a fun morning.
So then..when I got home finally .. I decided that since Driving was so tough .. I'd just WALK to the store and buy some margarita mix & make a fun day of it. MAN, I fell down like 10 times... but I got back home and had Margaritas the rest of the day.

A few x-mas ago we got about 3 foot of snow!!! and I live in upstate NY so we are used to snow but not that much all at one time! So I had margaritas that x-mas my sister inlaw and I had fun
You should get a 4 wheel drive that will help.
