I have switched my Yorkie (whom recently turned 1 yr) numerous of times (see my other postings) to other dog foods. I gradually added the new to the old for like a week or two. But sometimes he did pick the new out and leave the old, so I only put the new dog food in his dish. Some dog foods can be used for puppy & adult. That is good that your fella has stayed on one dog one, in comparison to mine.
