At 4 wks plus you can wean the puppies, have you tought of using a "belly band or wrap"??? You can keep her from nursing...
I never had eclampsia... thanks God , but you can also feed her some SCIENT DIET A/D and can wean the puppies with it as well.. very rich food for surgery recovery , prescription you can get at your vets.... will help her get back...
offer it to the puppies, they do not love it at first and then when hunger kicks in they will devour... just do not keep giving for too long, transition them to puppy food in 2-3 days....
