I'm in the process of training my two new Biewers to not run off. I go out side and we have a long walkway. I hide behind the edge of the house and then my husband opens the door and walks back into the kitchen. Of course both Spanky and Darla head down the walk. Whewn they get to me they get a loud NO and squirted with the hose lightly. It trained all the others not to leave the house without permssion and these guys will learn soon.

Then they get the don't go in the street training. With my 7 I would trust them all to never run off and never touch the street. The new ones should be trained by the end of Sept.

I think training it the best way to ensure they are never lost or hurt.
