Miko eats homecooked food that is very high in moisture. It's mostly veggies with a vegetarian source of protein added...He pees a lot, but he needs to. My vet told us that he should drink a lot and pee any time he gets the urge, and he should never hold it in. That's part of the reason we have to use puppy pads, so he can have access at all times. We encourage a high moisture intake through high moisture foods and treats. Of course, Miko does have an underlying medical condition...He has liver problems and a history of ammonium urate stones.
