We don't have our baby yet but we will sometime the middle of Aug. I am just trying to come up with a plan. I was going to use a play pen for when I could not pay close attention to her, I have three boys 9, 7, and 3 so I feel safer with her in a play pen out of my three year olds reach He might love on her to rough. If you have a better suggestion please let me know this is my first little dog, and it took me ten years to convince my hubby to let me have one his biggest problem was the mess that comes with them so i want to avoid as much as possible, I know accidents happen though.
I am rambling just let me know what you think.

i think a pen would work while you're home in terms of pottying on a pad... however, i think the problem you would run into with that situation is your pup crying to get out to be with you. Kash still cries everytime i leave him home alone in his pen, but he stops crying about 15 minutes after i'm gone (i assume). BUT if i put him in the pen and he can hear me still in the house, his crying is non-stop. yorkies just love to be with their owners at every possible moment. i guess you would just have to train your pup not to cry when he/she is in the pen. but i can't help with that since Kash still cries! lol. good luck!
