Callie has a doggy door too and she brings lots of stuff like sticks, bugs, snails worms some of the ickiest things and if we walk up to her to try to take them she normaly runs off with them back outside and leaves them out there but sometimes when she runs she leaves them behind and me and my grandma have to clean them up ewwwwie but sorry I dont really have an advice just shareing my story lol
