others also use pet silk top knot gel for dogs: Pet Silk Top Knot Hair Gel For Dogs. but it's slightly more expensive.

I just got the Pet Silk, it works great too. Wish I knew about it before. Tried the Vaseline until it came, it worked pretty good, but not as good as the Pet Silk.
