There are a couple of YT members who make homemade treats that are wonderful --

chattiesmom makes Yorkie Yummies that Franklin goes nuts for.
diggy4 also makes Cookies and Kisses that seem to be a hit. We have not tried them yet but plan to soon!

Or.. you can make your own! There are some good recipes for homemade treats on the Health and Diet forum

If you have to buy pet store treats.. I've heard Old Mother Hubbard treats are good, they're made by the same company that makes Merrick. I'm not for sure on this though.

We use Yorkie Yummies, OMH treats, cheerios, and little bits of cheese. Franklin also LOVES LOVES apples and cucumbers. Fruits are sweeter than vegetables so maybe you can try those?

ETA -- oh, and as far as chews go, the only thing Franklin gets is bully sticks although there seem to be sort of a controversy about them now. I'll continue to give them until I find something better. :/ It's either that or the furniture.
