You can feed him all kibble all canned or some of each. You could also homecook but you would have to supplement with vitamins and calcium.

Some good people food snacks are white meat chicken, boiled, no skin, fat or seasonings, cooked green beans, carrot, apple (no peeling), cook and peeled white and sweet potato...

A couple good kibbles are Wellness and Canidae.
You might also try Merrick or Evangers canned food.
