Welcome to YT! Your baby probably has quite a bit more growing to do. It's really hard to know exactly how big a puppy will grow to be...you have to know the size of the dogs in their pedigree. And some dogs mature faster than others. Most dogs will grow until they are at least 6 months old...most grow until they are 8-9months old, and some aren't done growing until 1-1.5years of age.

Purchasing from backyard breeders, pet shops, and puppymills perpetuates the suffering of other dogs.
Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
