This is a tiny bitch and I think she should have the vet take a look to be cautious...since your friend bred a 3 1/2 pounder, I hope she is in close contact with her vet anyway...I agree with Kim..have a stool check done for worms, to be safe. I think she is getting ready to whelp and many barf a few days prior..
Might not in dogs but it does in people. I have lost two patients to intestional blockages in the ER where they presented with vomiting poop and I have done it myself when I had a bowel obstruction right before surgery I know it's gross and I'm sorry but it does happen. In people, when it gets to that point unless they have immediate surgery they will die within hours. I guess it depends on what part of the intestine the blockage is in. But, I know for a sure fact that it does indeed happen in people. My little guys have eaten their own poop tho and vomited it back up as Kimberly said. Well, one did that shall remain un - named
