Last night Romeo kept growling and barking and he never does that, in fact, I can count the times I've heard him bark. So, I would call him, and he would come and lay down beside our bed, then I would fall back asleep only to be awakened by him again. After two more times of the same thing, I got up, looked down the hall where he was growling and barking, and didn't see anything, so I told him to come to bed, and off we went back to bed (by the way it was about 3 a.m.
)
Of course, he does it again, so this time I call him and he comes and stands at my doorway still barking down the hall. So I get up thinking I'm going to stay in the hall until I figure out what is going on (I think the cat is taunting him or something). I followed him down the hall and there laying on the floor is my 5-year olds Dora the Explorer pillow pal doll (see pic).
I pick it up and Romeo goes nuts growling and barking. I put it closer to him and he runs backward growling and barking. It was really hard not to keep doing it just to see his response.
Between me laughing so hard and him barking, the whole house was awake! I put it up in my daughter's closet and he stood there growling and barking, so I had to get hubby to distract him while I put it up in the top of our closet and shut the door. Too bad I didn't get a video off it. It was really funny. I always thought Dora the Explorer was a little scary too!
LOL.
