I took my then 4.5 month old, who was 1.5 pounds w/ me to LA and he did great. We left him in a all tile bathroom with some toys when we absolutly had to leave him and put do not disturb on the door. we asked them to clean the room when he was with us. I was so paranoid someone might steal him, or he would get hypoglyciemic, but he was fine! We didnt want to pack a crate and it is so small, so the bathroom was ideal. best of luck!
