i think it depends on if you are selling pet puppies or show pups...i'm not sure why (but being from Canada) but it seems that AKC is more "prestigious" even though they both stand for the same thing. Layla is registered AKC even though she is just a pet.. and if there weren't so many hoops to jump through she would have been CKC too... i figured i payed the big bucks for her... i want the paper that says she is AKC
i think that since you are in the US... and probably selling to people in the US>.. they would want a AKC registered pup.. but that is just my opinion...
